Fri. Sept. 1
We started off the Labor Day weekend with a Big Bang with another Happy Hour Buh-Bye Summer at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. Our saxophonin', rappin', singin' and dancin' guest player Chris (of The Heroes) joined us for some excellent jammin' and the Fly Girlz rocked the stage... Viva Las Vegas-style (see Sept. 13 for more on that)!!!

Sat. Sept. 2
A beautiful, classic wedding at the Torrey Pines Lodge in La Jolla for Sarah & Devin. Elegant and rockin', the party animals stayed to the very end even after bride & groom left for the honeymoon, happily groovin' ever after!

Sun. Sept. 3
A backyard 50th b-day party for our Fans For Life Annie & Rick... what a party (see testimonial)... great friends, great dancin' poolside (see pic below), and we ended the nite with a raucous version of Aerosmith's "Dream ON" especially for the b-day girl!

Fri. Sept. 8
The Atomic Groove/Carrie Weiland Trio at the Inn at L'Auberge in Del Mar again... affectionately known as "Mini Atomic Groove" doing our sophisticated piano-bar vibe... Rob on piano & vocs, Burt on bass & vocs, and Carrie on vocals... and Carrie on her b-day! Lots of friends showed up to help Carrie celebrate (see pics below), including some impromptu AG Fly Girl dancin' (yep, in the lobby lounge, it got a little out of hand, mind you, so much for the sophisticated!) and a big thank you to all who showed their support!

Sat. Sept. 9
Jacob's barmitzvah... yep, it was rockin ' (see Mom's testimonial)... the kids loved it, the adults loved it, Jacob loved being on stage...! Our rapper/vocalist Anthony joined us, the Fly Girlz had the kids mesmerized... and a Hora good time was had by all!

Wed. Sept. 13
The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) hosted this pre-event celebration/fundraiser as a pre-cursor to the big event triathlon and spin-a-thon in November. "Viva La Jolla" was the theme, so we donned our fishnets and Vegas-y vibe (see pic below and Sept. 1 pics page for more!), complete with an appearance from Elvis... we gracefully segued from campy, loungey jazz to a full rockin' AG groove fest. Everyone had tons o'fun, including this super-stoked audience member who couldn't help but join the Fly Girlz (see pic below) and it made for the perfect pre-event hype up!

Sat. Sept. 23
This wedding party knew how to par-tay! A very lively and festive group, they couldn't stay off the dance floor from the get go and at the end they couldn't stay off of the stage, either... it was crazy, I tell ya! And yet still so well-mannered! This Very beautiful venue, Estancia in La Jolla, was so Very classy and so Very hip, a big "Well Done" to wedding planner Rachel! Everyone totally grooved and rocked and Jamie & Grant (see pic below) were right there with 'em! We had our extra, extra smooth extra vocalist Phil with us and two Groovy Horns, Chuck & Derek (see pic below) to round out our Atomic Grooviness.

Sat. Sept. 30
Returning for our third year, the good people of 4S Ranch had us back to entertain the neighborhood (see Sept. 2 pics page)... we even had an extended band of a three piece all girl horn section (see pic below), wow-what a show! With our veteran dancers Jana & Elease (with lots of photo opps for adoring fans, see pic below) and the addition of our special back up vocalist Lisa, we put on a family show that had the adults' toes tappin' and the kids' entire bodies bouncing!
