Tues. July 3
What an especially Happy Hour celebration it was! About 300 patriotic Happy Hour-ers joined us for a pre-4th groove party that was worthy of some "Oooos" and "Ahhhhhs" and "Ohhhhhhs", for sure! The Fly Girlz lit up the crowd, the band was explosive and Carrie wowed the crowd with a very grand rendition of The National Anthem that brought the house down... or were they cheering for the boots?!

Sat. July 7
Our 4th year of 4th of July celebrating with the Rafiis and their annual neighborhood bash! Keyboardist Rob has so much fun at this backyard party every year he doesn't know what to say, singer Carrie and AG friend Sharon have too much fun every year and the neighborhood "band" (students of keyboardist/
music teacher Rob) rocks out even harder every year!

Sat. July 14
Stacie and Jeff's beautiful wedding was soooo well put together, and boy were they happy with what we put together for them (see testimonial)! The crowd was on their feet and grooving to the very end as singer Carrie and additional voc/sax/conga guy Chris kept the Links and the Hogans in a very celebatory mood all nite long!

Sun. July 15
A very special fundraiser for Mr. Lloyd Lewis, a well-known & loved personal trainer and instructor in coastal north county San Diego for over 25 years. Lloyd suffered a major stroke in early May and is uninsured, so Atomic Groove threw together a benefit/community outreach event, since he is a peer of AG singer Carrie (who is also a fitness professional) and many of the Fly Girlz. We raised a little bit of money (about $5k) as well as some awareness of Lloyd's condition in hopes of spreading the word of this very unfortunate situation to gain support for a man who has deeply touched and inspired hundreds of people throughout the years. A good time was had by all with lots of crowd participation dancing and, being the trooper he is, Lloyd even ventured out to be a part of this benefit in his honor, surrounded by his avid supporters!

Fri. July 20, Sat. July 28
A double dose within a week of L'Auberge featuring the Atomic Trio. On the 20th we had a ROCKIN' crowd that came from out of nowhere and took over the lobby lounge with their exuberant dance frenzy! And on the 28th we had lots of our favorite fans there (see Cheryl and Claudia) as we ROCKED the lounge per our usual Trio-style!
