Sat. Jan. 6
Welcoming in the New Year by getting WILD with Watson Wyatt, hosting their annual After-The- Holidays holiday party at The Catamaran Resort in Pacific Beach, Ca. We showed up with our Core Band plus two Fly Girlz, and all Watson Wyatt-ers were still in a quite impressive holiday mood as evidenced by the lovely couple pictured below. Some party goers really played up the animal theme and unleashed their party spirits, and Carrie and the AG Fly Grrrrrlz got a little untamed themselves, as per the pic below.
     

Sat. Jan. 13
The lovely L’Auberge Lobby lounge with the Atomic Carrie Weiland Trio, featuring Carrie on vocs, Rob on piano/vocs and Burt on bass/vocs, the first of 2007… more classy jazz faves, blues standards and assorted pop dee-lites, pleasing everyone and everyone singin’ along, as per usual!


Fri. Jan. 26
Ditto of Jan. 13 at L’Auberge, another fun night with some much appreciated repeat attendance from several who came to see us on Jan. 13… it was another good one with some more good tunes, good people and good L’Auberging- good times!

Tues. Jan. 30
Another company party, this time at our favorite live music venue, the fabulous Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach (the site of our monthly-ish Happy Hour Extravaganza). The folks from Check Point got bussed in and we had ‘em going after a smokin’ warm-up set from the Check Point Rockin’ Band, featuring Check Point employees… the crowd was nice and toasty for us as we took the stage (as did some other Check Point employees with beers in hand see pic!). Guitarist Mark was happy to Groove the Check Pointers as the Core Band plus three Fly Girlz proceeded to burn it up- check that!
