Fri. April 6
The Carrie Weiland Atomic Trio (Atomic Groove members Carrie, Rob & Burt) strikes again, this time completely devoid our regular entourage (see April 7 for more details, due to a wedding rehearsal dinner!)... tho we dearly missed our regulars, boy did we have some fun! Lots of crowd participation and we even had exuberant dancers (thanks, Deana!) right there in the lobby lounge for quite a full house. We (at least) enjoyed ourselves with our wacky piano/bass/vocal acoustic-style lounge show complete with the usual wide array of jazz standards, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt and even some Queen!

Sat. April 7
Our dear friend and AG FlyGirl, Cheryl, gets married! And the funnest thing is that she marries a guy that met her through Carrie & AG, so Atomic G now fancies ourselves as matchmakers, "the band that brings people together". Hmmmmmm... a whole other reason to get some AG in your life! Carrie & Rob had the pleasure of performing at this comfy & casual, and so very heartfelt ceremony (ala L'Auberge Trio style in a Garden Party Theme), with some help from our AG extra guy Chris, with his magical flute. And we performed a Carrie & Rob original "The Very Best Part", as well a rendition of Queen's "You're My Best Friend" (see April 6 for our rehearsing date!) as the exit song, which is now in regular rotation for both the Trio and AG!

 

Fri. April 13
Happy Happy Hour @ The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach... click here to see how we and our fans feel about it...we keep getting so much feedback about how fun it is to have a place to go and see a great band (like Atomic Groove!) that plays fun, danceable music from a variety of genres without having to stay out til dawn!!! I don't care how old you are or aren't, that's totally cool, isn't it?? Just look at how much fun all those Fly Girlz have!!!

Sat. April 21
We donned our tuxes and classy glam wear for this association gala for defense lawyers, so we were on our best Groovin' behavior for these folks, let me tell you! Featuring our AG Plus+ line up (The Core Band plus two Fly Girlz plus Sax/Voc guy Chris and Voc/Rapper Anthony) for our slammin' 9 piece show band, the verdict is in ... all were guilty of a really great time (see testimonial)! BTW, great booty shakin' by Pam that nite (click here for evidence!)

Wed. April 25
You belong at the Zoo... groovin' for a company party, our 2nd annual appearance for this group, see testimonial! With company Prez Dave taking the stage to join us for some nice vocalizing (see video) and some impressively nice booty shaking (see video), we featured The Core Band and got this fun group all riled up to the very end!

Sat. Apr. 28
Ok, let's just say it... this Catholic School ROCKED! And GROOVED! And ROLLED! And GOT DOWN! They raised some funds, raised their hands (see video) and raised the bar for fundraisers, as far as AG goes! Again, our Atomic G PLUS+ version of the band (see April 21) had the dance floor packed from the very first note and we played non-stop for what seemed like hours and hours tho it flew by cuz we all were having such a good time (see testimonial)!
